Drawing inspiration from the “Gladiator” figure, who first fights with his peers in the arena and then puts his fate in the hands of the spectators, this television Gladiator will be the protagonist of a challenge never seen before! Applying a combination of astuteness and luck, suspense and fun, the studio audience will participate directly in the quiz and may compete for and ultimately win the jackpot accumulated by the player. During the first phase of the game, three players enter the center of the arena: these are the three gladiators, but only one will survive the selection process. The Gladiators, pitted one against the other, challenge each other by  answering a series of rapid-fire questions The player who remains alive the longest wins, whilst the runner-up remains in the game as a reserve. During the second phase of the game, the Gladiator accumulates the jackpot, answering a series of questions. The audience supports him, encourages him, and makes suggestions but if the Gladiator does not know the answer and decides to pass, he has only one option left: to play the accumulated jackpot against the arena. In the third and final phase of the game, the Gladiator and twenty representatives from the audience challenge each other in an attempt to  win the final jackpot, which remains unchanged from the preceding phase. Unlike the second phase, this time the arena distracts the Gladiator and cheers with every mistake he makes. At each error the jackpot jumps back and forth from the Gladiator to the audience and from the audience to the Gladiator, and is finally allocated when the individual whose turn it is to play answers the last question correctly.
