Day, Night, Dawn. Period drama

Code: 017376

Writer and film director Paolo Bianchini discovers a treasure in a countryside castle in southern Italy: an ancient stone slab indicating the location where the legendary dramatic encounter between Frederick II and Saint Francis of Assisi had taken place. The charismatic Frederick II lived in luxury and reflected about the mysteries of the universe surrounded by a circle of advisors and magicians. Whereas the humble Francis of Assisi, with the ground as his bed and the sky as a ceiling, wondered about the mysteries of the soul. On one windy morning in 1220 their worlds united, with one seemingly impossible goal: peace.
