Enrico Russo, a respectable property manager for apartment buildings, rapes and murders children. Seeking to stop him are a judge, a police officer, and a psychiatrist, lost in the vain attempt to detect a cancer mixed in with normality. Then, one day, Enrico meets Andrea, a 7-yearold boy, and falls in love with him. He wants to be, for Andrea, the good father he never had, and take him away from a stupid family that has made him fragile, vulnerable, and ready to accept the attention of a stranger.
