Franco and Tino are an odd couple forced to live in the same home for the simple fact that they are locked in a battle over who should inherit the property. Both have sons they think very little of: Franco’s is married, with no children, and the father looks down on him as a frivolous person lacking in ambition, while Tino’s boy is a homosexual who lives with a young hairdresser, a situation still able to create a scandal in the provincial northern Italian city where they live.
