A Music Conservatory is a very special place. There, lives are intertwined that elsewhere would not even meet, as the talent and passion for music occur in all different types of people, regardless of their financial status or social class. Musica silenziosa is set in a small Music Conservatory in Puglia. Our protagonists are Angela, a young inspector of the Ministry of Universities, Mattia, an eccentric professor who dreams of rescuing the school from the clutches of a director he considers dishonest and the students, for whom the Academy is like a voice in the wilderness, a beacon that shines in the darkness of Southern Italy, which is filled with beauty but lacking in hope and prospects for the future.
