Just as Detective Lisa Milani was enjoying newfound happiness with her husband and her three children, she must take on a murder case in which her rebellious adolescent daughter Ludovica would appear to be involved. Working alongside her trusted investigative squad, including Nanni Fortuna, who, even with a love interest of his own, continues to be enthralled by Lisa, she manages to reconcile her passion for her work and her family, at the same time coping with her husband’s health problems, which he has kept secret in order not to avoid adding to her burdens.
