“Black Dog” is a pyromaniac who has the obsession of setting garbage bins on fire, leaving behind the message, “Only what burns talks”. Inspector Matteo De Rosa, whose earring and casual clothing already bother his superiors, seems to be neglecting the case. Tired of police work, he would like to take a year off to play the saxophone. But the suicide of a fellow officer, who shows live through a mobile his own suicide to De Rosa, is the keystone for the Inspector to investigate who is behind a series of attacks against the police.
