Luce's Rome (the) Art-Culture-Music

Code: 017465

It’s the collection of the best sequences that Luce shot, between 1926 and 1943, about «the eternal city», its monuments, its changes and its citizens. Movies stars, cars, sports, beautiful women run on the screen, but also processions, the Tiber’s floods, the destruction of districts in order to replace them with big streets, squares, or buildings of the Mussolini’s Rome. The images are not followed by words, but by songs of that time, which give to characters and places more fascination and suggestion.
