E.U.R. - 1942 Universal Exhibition of Rome Art-Culture-Music

Code: 017451

The film has been composed using stock footage and film clips of the Universal Exhibition of Rome of 1942. E.U.R. was the acronym for Esposizione Universale di Roma and later on stood for a residential district of Rome built for that occasion. Inspired by other similar great exhibitions of the century, such as the Chicago World’s Fair and the Paris and Brussels Expositions, the political and architectural history of this event is portrayed from its birth to the interruption of the works caused by the outbreak of the II World War.
