With their money, the commendator Gaudenzi and the countess of Sansevero devote themselves to make flourishing the "Conservatorio Moriacchi" of Perugia. Giovanni Russo teaches violin and gains likings of his pupils and affection of girls.  Various women aspire to marry him: Agnese, piano teacher Luciana Taddei and the same Margherita, countess of Sansevero, widow for a long time. The countess Laura, as for her, investigates teacher's past, while Margherita asks him to follow her daughter during a tour in Israel.
