Under the crowded streets of Rome, historic and archaeological treasures are hidden. Program shows, for the first time ever, what lies beneath the famous sites of Rome - like the Church of Santa Sabina, the Basilica of Saints John and Paul, the Villa Medici, the Nympheus of the Annibaldi's. An exciting tour that left the visitors in astonishment - kind of surprising even the insiders. Each step of the journey is emphasized with stories, anecdotes and the expert's elucidations. There were some odd discoveries: a colony of crabs in the channels underneath the Mercati Traianei, a few meters away from the Coliseum, the frescoes in the Hypogeum of the Via Livenza, ten metres underground in the centre of Italy's largest city.

The Lazio Region, one of Italy's most important realities, invests in its productive resources.
