The first cross-media animation festival

Since 14 years, Cartoons on the Bay is one of the most important international animation festivals and, since 2009, multimedia, becoming the first in the world to include in the categories of the Pulcinella Awards competition, cross-media projects and interactive animation, the first ones linked to the development of a product on different platforms, including licensing, and the second one dedicated to videogames. The Pulcinella Awards Competition, considered the “oscars” of animation has introduced the categories, broadening the audience target: TV Series (divided in four targets: Pre-school, Kids, Tween and Young Adults); Cross-media Project; Pilot of Tv Series; Short Film; Educational and Social Issues Film – Unicef Prize; Interactive Animation.

Cartoons on the Bay is an event promoted by RAI - Radiotelevisione Italiana, organized by  Rai Trade in cooperation with Rai Fiction, and the support of  Terre di Portofino.
